I have written C# for more than 15 years, at Xamarin, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services, and I maintain two of the most downloaded libraries in the .NET ecosystem: CommunityToolkit.Maui (10 million+ downloads) and AsyncAwaitBestPractices (7.9 million+). Microsoft MVP.

What I take on

• .NET MAUI apps. Architecture, custom controls and handlers, memory leaks, startup time, and the platform-specific bugs that stall a release. I wrote the Deep Dive: .NET MAUI course and maintain the .NET MAUI Community Toolkit.
• Async and performance audits. I read your code for the deadlocks, blocked threads, swallowed exceptions, and thread pool starvation that show up as "the app is slow sometimes," then fix them with you. This is the material behind my async/await workshop.
• ASP.NET Core and Blazor. APIs, backends, and web apps, including GraphQL with Hot Chocolate and the async patterns Blazor Server apps get wrong.
• NativeAOT and trimming. Getting an app to compile and run trimmed, and keeping it that way.
• Migrations. Xamarin.Forms to .NET MAUI, and Azure to AWS. I have done both on my own production apps and can show you the scars.
• Code review and mentoring. A standing weekly review of your team's pull requests, with written notes your engineers keep.

How it works

Email me what is wrong or what you are building. I reply within one business day with how I would approach it, what I would need from your team, and a quote. The simplest way to start is a one-week audit that ends in a written report and a prioritized fix list; you can stop there or have me do the work.

Pricing

• $200 per hour, billed against tracked time, for audits, reviews, and open-ended work.
• Fixed price for a defined project, quoted after the audit.
• On-site days: $2,500 per day in addition to the hourly or fixed fee, plus travel at cost. San Francisco Bay Area included.
• Retainer for standing availability: quoted per month.
